Il festival
TAM TAM TAMBURREDDHU FESTIVAL — un Festival pensato per valorizzare lo strumento principale della tradizione salentina — “Lu Tamburreddhu”. L’idea del Festival è che perdendo lo strumento tradizionale perderemo lo suono della musica tradizionale. Questa riflessione noi la facciamo attraverso momenti di festa e dibattito. La presenza di artisti nazionali e internazionali coinvolti dal Festival, ci aiuta ad avviare un confronto tra “Lu Tamburreddhu” e altre percussioni del Mediterraneo.
The Festival
TAM TAM TAMBURREDDHU FESTIVAL — a Festival designed to enhance the main instrument of the Salento tradition — “Lu Tamburreddhu”. The idea of the Festival is that by losing the traditional instrument we will lose the sound of traditional music. We do this reflection through moments of celebration and debate. The presence of national and international artists involved in the Festival helps us to start a comparison between “Lu Tamburreddhu” and other Mediterranean percussion.
