Il festival
Il festival della Tradinnovazione è nato nel 2001 da un’idea di Claudio “Cavallo” Giagnotti, il leader della band Mascarimirì ed è dedicato alla musica tradizionale del Salento, e non solo, alle sue innovazioni e sperimentazioni. Il Festival negli anni ha ospitato sul suo palco artisti come Uccio Aloisi, Pino Zimba, Alla Bua, Aramirè, Tamburellisti di Torrepaduli, Aria Corte, Enza Pagliara, Anna Cinzia Villani, Ariafrisca e tanti altri “maestri”, portavoci nel mondo del patrimonio musicale salentino.
The Festival
The Tradinnovazione Festival was born in 2001 from an idea by Claudio “Cavallo” Giagnotti, the leader of the Mascarimirì band and is dedicated to the traditional music of Salento, and not only that, to its innovations and experiments. Over the years, the Festival has hosted on its stage artists such as Uccio Aloisi, Pino Zimba, Alla Bua, Aramirè, Tamburellisti di Torrepaduli, Aria Corte, Enza Pagliara, Anna Cinzia Villani, Ariafrisca and many other “masters”, spokespersons in the world of musical heritage of Salento.
