The “Fondazione Gaber” was created in 2006 in order to focus attention on the works of Giorgio Gaber, with a particular interest in reaching out to young people.

The main activities of the Foundation are concerned with educational meetings, exhibitions, festivals, conferences, music and theatre performances across the whole country. In addition many of its activities are directed towards encouraging research into Gaber’s music and poetry. In accordance with its aims, the Foundation has always been active in promoting culture and art in collaboration with cultural institutes, music schools, schools, universities, associations, businesses and public bodies.

The “Fondazione Fabrizio De Andrè Onlus” operates across the whole of Italy to develop and romote the culture of poetry and music. In particular, the foundation aims to spread awareness of the philosophy, works and life of Fabrizio De André by encouraging social and cultural initiatives and also to facilitate research into the artist’s music and poetry. The Foundation is also very involved in cultural and artistic initiatives to help the disadvantaged (physically, mentally, economically, socially or with family problems) and to help the institutions directly involved in social work. In order to carry out its aims, the Foundation carries out studies, promotional activities and interventions.
