This is the first festival in Italy dedicated to independent live music, video film, literary and cultural production and the first show of the new Italian music and contemporary cultural and music production .
The 2010 edition of MEI has recorded on over 15,000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 30,000 admissions, more than 400 artists performing live, more than 400 videos, 300 exhibitors, 200 media present, 150 conferences, presentations and meetings and 100 workers from abroad.
Written and hosted by WIN - World Association for the professional independent music industry and adherent to " Festival Network open to Young peolpe " supported by the Ministry of Youth and the ANCI. The XXV edition of M.E.I. will exceptionally take place during the Medimex.
