From 19 to 23 October in Lisbon in Portugal Puglia Sounds will take part in the important fair with an institutional stand, 22 delegates including artists and musical operators from Puglia and the showcase of Kalàscima from Salento
Also this year Puglia is among the protagonists of Womex, the most important European music fair that brings together over 20 thousand delegates from all over the world, for an important action to promote the regional music system. Puglia Sounds in fact participates in the fair, scheduled from 19 to 23 October in Lisbon in Portugal, with an institutional stand that hosts, in addition to the staff of the Puglia Region program, 22 delegates including artists and operators engaged in the international promotion of projects that spread the Apulian musical culture and promotes the showcase of the Salento group Kalàscima.

On 22 October from 9.00 pm at the Parque Mayer in Lisbon Puglia Sounds, in partnership with Italian Word Beat and the support of Italia Music Export, promotes Italian Off Womex Night, an evening dedicated to Italian music with Apulian showcases Kalàscima, Stefano Saletti and Banda Ikona and Suonno d’Ajere. Furthermore, Puglia Sounds has created promotional materials – distributed to the international delegates present at Womex – to support the activities of the operators present and promote the rich regional world scene and the activities of artists and festivals not present. Finally, thanks to the synergy between Puglia Sounds and ARTI Puglia, operators of Luoghi Comuni, an initiative of the Youth Policies of the Puglia Region and ARTI, will participate in the Womex to follow the activities and create live shows, interviews with the protagonists, podcasts and video stories that will be disseminated through the digital channels of Puglia Sounds, Luoghi Comuni and the web radio iNext Radio and Radio Bachi.
