Open calls are available on the pugliasounds.it website Puglia Sounds Record 2023, Puglia Sounds Producer 2023, Puglia Sounds Tour Italia 2023, Puglia Sounds Export 2023, Puglia Sounds Export 2023: fairs and convention 2023 with an overall budget of € 596,000.00 for the first six months of 2023. Five public notices aimed at artists, operators, record labels, producers, booking agencies, concert organizers, festivals that fall within Puglia Sounds Plus 2023, the line of intervention of Puglia Sounds – the program of the Puglia Region for the development of the regional music system implemented by the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese – which has been supporting the music sector since 2020. The notices – created as part of the extraordinary plan called Custodiamo la Cultura with which the Puglia Region supports the tourism and culture supply chains – are in fact aimed at strengthening the sector with specific interventions on artistic production, recordings, circulation in Puglia, in Italy and abroad.

The new Puglia Sounds Plus public notices are available in the public notices section of the pugliasounds.it website, referring to activities to be carried out between 10 January and 30 June 2023. In detail Puglia Sounds Record 2023, the call which since 2011 has supported the realization of 359 new record productions, provides for an economic endowment of 180,000.00 euros for the realization of production, promotion and record distribution projects that promote the creativity and the Apulian music system with a deadline set for December 7, 2022. Puglia Sounds Producers 2023, call which in the previous deadlines has supported the creation of 88 new digital productions, with an economic endowment of 80 thousand euros for streaming programming and digital distribution of original projects of multimedia productions, national and international, with a deadline set at 5 December 2022. Puglia Sounds Tour Italia 2023, the call which in the previous deadline has supported 642 concerts in Italy, with an economic endowment of 120 thousand euros for the programming of artistic-cultural musical projects and multidisciplinary artistic-cultural projects, having live music as the main language, which is take place in the national territory and from this year also in Puglia with a deadline set for 6 December 2022. Puglia Sounds Export 2023, the call which since 2010 has supported over 1800 concerts abroad, with an endowment of 150 thousand euros for the programming of artistic-cultural musical projects and multidisciplinary artistic-cultural projects, having live music as their main language, which take place in international territory, with a deadline set at 9 December 2022. Puglia Sounds Export 2023: fairs and conventions with a budget of 66 thousand euros for internationalization projects of the Apulian music system in the context of international fairs and conventions with numerous deadlines: 5 December Eurosonic Noorderslag 2023 (Netherlands), 6 December Babelmed 3023 (France), 12 December Jazzahead! (Germany), 13 December Primavera Pro (Spain) and 14 December other fairs. Finally, Puglia Sounds Protocols of Understanding 2022 is still active until 31 December, which favors circulation through agreements with Italian structures I-Jazz (network that represents an articulated network of realities present throughout the national territory, with about 60 active members in all Italian regions) and JIP – Jazz Italian Platform (an association that brings together 19 different Italian companies to date) and international entities EJN – Europe Jazz Network (European association which includes 170 organizations including festivals, clubs and concert halls, independent promoters), FWMF – Forum of Worldwide Music Festival (network of over 50 festivals focused on world music and local cultures) e Live DMA (European network supporting live music associations currently composed of 21 members and representing 3800 music venues, clubs and festivals). Through the memoranda of understanding Puglia Sounds recognizes a fee to the associated festivals / clubs that plan projects to promote the regional music system.
