From Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 October “Puglia Sounds in London” will be held in London, an intense tree-day festival dedicated to the discovery of the sounds of Apulia, from reggae to jazz, from folk to rock concerts with some of the most representative musicians of Apulia:Emma Marrone, Nicola Conte, Sud Sound System, Radiodervish, Erica Mou, Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, Mama Marjas, Livio Minafra, Nidi d’Arac, La Fame di Camilla, Serpenti, Populous and Larssen. Organized byTIJ Events with the support of Puglia Sounds and of the Apulian Tourist Board “Pugliapromozione”,  “Puglia Sounds in London” will be staged at Koko Club and Dingwalls, two prestigious live music venues that will host an amazing mix of sounds from Apulia. 

A three-day celebration of Apulian music which, based on synergistic cooperation of its organizing agencies, is intended to promote Apulia abroad as a tourist destination leveraging one of the main attractors of this land: its rich music heritage.


Festival program

  • On Monday 8 October the stage of the Koko Club – one of the most important London live music venues where the big names of music, including Noel Gallagher, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Amy Winehouse have performed- will host  Emma Marrone, winner of the last edition of the “Festival di Sanremo”, Sud Sound System with their unique sound mixing Salento dialect and reggae music, Nicola Conte, among the most appreciated Italian jazz players abroad, young songwriter singer Erica Mou produced by Sugar and Larssen a dj from Salento who will close the night.


  • On Tuesday 9 October Puglia Sounds in London moves to Dingwalls, another prestigious London live music venue with the live shows of: Populous, producer an dj produced by Berlin label Morr MusicMama Marjas and Miss Mykela with their “We Ladies” project produced by Adrian Sherwood, accompanied by Sista Women in Reggae (UK), the Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, among the most representative and appreciated groups playing traditional music of Salento and Livio Minafra, a young jazz piano player, twice winner of Top Jazz Prize.


  • On Wednesday 10 October the Dingwalls stage will host the Radiodervish, one of the leading groups of the Italian world scene, the Nidi d’Arac with their mix of traditional and electronic music and two among the most interesting groups of the new Apulian music scene, rock group La Fame di Camilla and electro-pop duoSerpenti.
