Puglia’s creativity travels abroad through participation in the leading international music fairs and conventions.
As part of the internationalisation of the music scene of Puglia, Puglia Sounds Export promotes – through a dedicated call named Fairs and Conventions – the participation of Apulian operators in the leading European and non-European music fairs and conventions. Puglia Sounds takes part in these events with its own institutional stands, which become the reference stand for the operators from Puglia; it makes it easier for them to purchase entry badges and pays a variable amount covering some of the costs of taking part.
In addition, within the programmes of the fairs and conventions, Puglia Sounds organises and promotes communication, networking and meeting activities with international professionals, to support the presence of operators and artists from Puglia and to raise awareness of the region. Operators may also propose other fairs and conventions of international relevance to take part in, when these are not already included in the annual programme of Puglia Sounds.
