Transforming musical space into an open territory is no easy task. Yet Rob Luft (guitar), Roberto Ottaviano (saxophone) and Giovanni Guidi (piano) have created a trio without protagonists, where every gesture nurtures the shared sound. In WORDS, improvisation reveals a shared geometry: essential pieces, no solos, every pause counts. Guitar and piano blend together, the saxophone blows lyrically. A free and evolving musical conversation.
