Il FESTIVAL RITRATTI è un cartellone di eventi tematici in Puglia creati che unisce e affianca ogni anno in residenza il talento di giovani e giovanissimi all’esperienza di artisti della scena internazionale spesso nel ruolo di “concertatori”: i progetti, creati, diretti e curati con questa formula di lavoro, si avvalgono della collaborazione con interpreti e attori specialisti delle diverse discipline con cui la musica interagisce: teatro, poesia, danza, arti figurative. Monopoli, città dalla storia millenaria che si stringe attorno al suo porto in un abbraccio di bellezza, a pochi chilometri da Bari, è da 21 anni il cuore pulsante di Ritratti, Festival e marchio registrato, appuntamento stabile e atteso dell’estate musicale italiana, e non solo.

The RITRATTI FESTIVAL is a program of thematic events in Puglia created that unites and combines every year in residence the talent of young and very young people with the experience of artists from the international scene often in the role of “concert artists”: the projects, created, directed and curated with this work formula, make use of the collaboration with interpreters and actors who are specialists in the different disciplines with which music interacts: theater, poetry, dance, figurative arts. Monopoli, a city with a thousand-year history that gathers around its port in an embrace of beauty, a few kilometers from Bari, has been the beating heart of Ritratti for 21 years, a Festival and registered trademark, a stable and eagerly awaited event in the Italian musical summer, and beyond.
