Li Ucci Festival è un contenitore di iniziative a 360° (mostre, estemporanee, incontri e spettacoli musicali). Obiettivo principale è quello di ricordare i cantori de “Gli Ucci“, lo storico gruppo cutrofianese custode degli “stornelli”, dei canti d’amore e di lavoro, spesso improvvisati al ritmo del tamburello e poi tutti gli altri cantori e musicisti salentini capaci di tramandare il patrimonio popolare.

Li Ucci Festival is a comprehensive program of events (exhibitions, impromptu performances, meetings, and musical performances). The main goal is to commemorate the singers of “Gli Ucci” the historic cutrofianese group that sang the “stornelli” love and work songs, often improvised to the rhythm of the tambourine, as well as all the other Salento singers and musicians who have preserved this folk heritage.
